Sajal Haoladar, 20, helper of a truck succumbed to his injuries Friday noon after his vehicle fell into a ditch on early Friday.
Barisal Sher E Bangla Medical College Hospital sources said a truck coming from Dhaka to Barisal Nathullabad terminal fell into a roadside ditch at Chhoy Mile area under Barisal Airport Police Station on Barisal-Dhaka highway early Friday.
Police rescuing the truck helper Sajal Haoladar, son of Babul Haoladar of Shikarpur under Uzirpur upazila of Barisal, sent to SBMCH in a critical condition and he succumbed to his injuries there Friday noon, said Shahidullah, Barisal Airport Police Station in charge.
Police seized the truck, sent the body to morgue for autopsy, but failed to detain the truck driver, the police officer said. -Our Correspondent, Barisal
