Dhaka – A four-year-old child boy was killed as a truck ran over him in Nababganj upazila on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Md Saim Hossain, son of Harun.Sub-inspector Kamrul Hasan of Baruakhali investigation centre under Nababganj Police Station said the accident took place at Brahmankhali village of the upazila when he was going home with his mother, leaving him dead on the spot.
Soon after the incident, locals caught the truck driver and informed the police.
On information, police recovered the body and arrested truck driver.
Necessary legal action would be taken in this connection, said the police officer.UNB
