Two Assemblywomen organise Eid-ul-Adha reuinon in New York

New York, (USA) – An Eid reunion was held in New York’s Bronx park Chester organised by two Women of the Assembly on August 14.
Assembly Member Carinus Reyes (Assembly District-87) and Assembly Member Nathalia Fernandez (Assembly District-80) jointly organised the event at St Paul’s church for the Bronx Bangla Bazaar on Wednesday from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Hundreds of Bangladeshi Americans attended the event. Assembly woman dressed in hijab cheered with Bangladeshi Americans. Hundreds of Muslim community activists and leaders from other countries also participated in the Eid reunion.
On that occasion, Bangladeshis had a joyous gathering of Muslim leaders from other countries. Everyone exchanged ideas and skills with each other and discussed potential community problems.
Hasan Ali, the convener of the American Muslim Political Action Committee, worked as volunteer at the fundraising event of Natalia Fernandez and Kareena Raiz, who garnered huge Bangladeshi support in the last election.
He told this correspondent that Bangladeshi Americans who work for the Volunteers for the Politicians in their respective localities should attend the fundraising event and help by voting. This will strengthen the position of our Bangladeshis in the mainstream.
