Rajshahi, Oct 6 – A two-day long science fiesta started at Rajshahi University (RU) on Saturday where more than five hundred students took part from 35 different institutions of Rajshahi district. RU Science Club (RUSC) organized the program with assistance from the National Science and Technology Museum on the campus.
On the fest, it arranged science Olympiad, poster presentation, project show, science business idea presentation, 4D movie on the mobile bus of National Science and Technology Museum, quiz competition and robix cube competition
Director general of National Science and Technology, Sapan Kumar Dey inaugurated program as the chief guest on 10 am at university Kazi Nazrul Islam Auditorium while RU pro-vice-chancellor Professor Dr Ananda Kuma Saha, pro-vice-chancellor Professor Dr Chawdhury Md Zakaria, student advisor Prof Dr Anajuman Banu, among others,
addressed the program as special guests.
President of RUSC Ahsan Habir presided over the program while its general secretary Ashraful Alam conducted it. Founder president Zohurul Islam Moon gave the welcome speech.
The fiesta started on Saturday and it will be ended today with the captive cultural function on the university auditorium. – RU Correspondent
