Police arrested two alleged robbers along with firearms while they were taking preparation for robbery in College Bazaar area of Birampur upazila on Sunday.The arrested were identified as Ziaur Rahman Zia, 38, resident of Bajitpur village and Mamunur Rashi, 36, resident of Hatishal village of in Nababganj upazila.On a tip-off that that a gang of robbers were taking preparation for robbery, a team of Birampur Police Station conducted conducted a drive in the area around 6pm and arrested them along with two pistols, five rounds of bullets and one magazine.Shakila Parvin, officer-in-charge (Investigation) of Birampur Police Station confirmed the incident. -UNB, Dinajpur
