Dhaka – A court of Dhaka on Thursday sentenced two persons to death for killing AmitSaha, a student of Eastern University.
Judge Shahed Nuruddin of the Speedy Trial Tribunal-1 of Dhaka announced the verdict on Thursday in his crowded courtroom. The court also sentenced another convict to life-term imprisonment.Death sentenced convicts are: Aftab Ahmed Shihab and Al Amin Islam Pintu while convict Ruhul Amin was given life-term imprisonment.
Amit Saha, a fourth semester student of the business administration faculty of the university was killed on November 21, 2012 in Mirpur area of the city. The three convicts are his friends. – Special Correspondent
