Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two siblings in possession of one foreign-made pistol, one magazine and five rounds of bullet from their house at Ekbalia village in Sadar (South) upazila on Monday night.
The arrestees were identified as Emon Hossain and Mir Hossain, sons of Abul Miah, a resident of the same village.
Rab sources said on secret information, a team of the elite force led by assistant superintendent of police Shah Shibli Sadik of Rab-11, conducted a raid on the house of Abul Miah at the village and arrested the duo at night.The force also recovered one foreign pistol, one magazine and five rounds of bullet from the house.The arrestees were wanted in eight cases with Sadar (South) and Comilla Model Police Stations, Rab sources said. -UNB, Comilla
