Two crude bombs were exploded in separate places of the city on Monday night during the 72-hour nationwide hartal enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance, alongside its ongoing countrywide indefinite transport blockade.
A group of miscreants blasted a crude bomb targeting VIP Conference Room of Khulna Press Club at about 8:30 pm, said administrative officer of the Press Club Sanjoy Kumar Datta.Meanwhile, a crude bomb was blasted in front of 21 no. ward councilor office of Khulna City Corporation at about 9:00 pm.However, no one was injured in the blasts.Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Sukumar Biswas confirmed the explosions. -UNB, Khulna
