Dhaka, Aug 8 – Two suspected robbers sustained bullet injuries in a reported gunfight with members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in Ekota Housing area of Mohammadpur in the city early Tuesday.On secret information, a team of Rab conducted a drive in the area early in the morning, said Rab sources.
Sensing the presence of the law enforcers, the robber gang opened fire on them.
The law enforcers also retaliated, triggering the gunfight that left two robbers bullet-injured.
The Rab members said they arrested four robbers and recovered arms and bullet from the spot. – UNB
