Dhaka – Members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized new notes of Bangladeshi two-taka worth 84,000 from Benapole Checkpost on Tuesday morning during smuggling to India.Lt Col Ariful Haque, commanding officer of BGB-49 battalion, said that tipped-off, a team of BGB conducted a drive around 7am and recovered the taka.However, no one was arrested.A case was filed.The notes were being smuggled across the border to sell to drug addicts to turn those into two-dollar notes by printing.UNB news agency
