Dhaka – An under-trial prisoner died at Gopalganj General Hospital in Sadar upazila in Gopalganj on Thursday.Atiqur Rahman, jailer of Gopalganj District Jail, said Pintu Sheikh, 35, an accused in a case under Narcotics Control Act and son of Shahid Sheikh of Lakhairchar village in Maksudpur upazila, fell sick in the prison.Later he was taken to Gopalganj District Hospital where the doctors declared him dead around 12 pm.UNB new agency
