Police recovered the body of an unidentified young man from Katherpul area on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Chandina upazila on Saturday morning.Inspector (Investigation) of Chandina Police Station Mohammad Salahuddin said local people spotted the body of the man, aged about 30 years and wearing a black T-shirt and white pants, lying beside the highway and informed police at about 8:30 am.
Later police recovered the body and sent it to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.Police suspected that someone killed the young man and dumped the body there.The body bore several injury marks in the neck and face, police said.A case was filed in this connection. -UNB, Comilla
