United Airways to fly on Dhaka-Kathmandu route

United Airways (BD) Limited, the country’s largest private airliner, will fly daily on Dhaka-Kathmandu route from August 24, officials said here on Wednesday.   They said the airline started operating four flights a week on Dhaka-Kathmandu route on January 4, 2010. Now it has planned to introduce daily flight on the route.   United Airways is now operating flights on international routes from Dhaka to Jeddah, Dubai, Muscat, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Kathmandu and Kolkata and also from Chittagong to Muscat and Kolkata.   The airline is operating domestic flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, Sylhet, Jessore, Cox’s Bazar, Saidpur, Rajshahi and Barisal.   It has also planned to introduce flights on Dhaka-Singapore and Dhaka-Doha routes in September next apart from flights, according to the officials.   Another plan is also there to introduce flights to Karachi and Yangon in addition to introducing flights on Dhaka-Ishwardi domestic route.
