A female student of a private university suffered injuries as miscreants shot her at her residence in Daudkandi upazila headquarters on Monday night.The victim was identified as Keya Chowdhury, 26, a student of Abdul Qader Chowdhury University. She is a witness in a case filed in connection with the killing of her grandfather Haji Asmat Ullah.Family members said miscreants opened fire on Keya when she was cooking in the kitchen of the house around 9:00pm, leaving her injured.She was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the capital.Contacted, officer-in-charge of Daudkandi model police station.Mohammad Abu Salam Miah said they heard about the attack on Keya Chowdhury.
