Dhaka – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested a union parishad member along with Yaba tablets from Sutashi village in Boalmari upazila on Thursday.
The arrestee was identified as Moti Kazi, 42, a member of ward non 7 in Boalmari union.
Additional superintendent Md Rois Uddin, company commander of Rab-8, said that a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the village and arrested Moti along with 200 Yaba tablets.
The arrestee was handed over to Boalmari Police Station.A case was filed.UNB
