Vices should not overtake virtues of power!

This refers to the news item “they (BNP) do not understand the language of democracy- said PM Sheikh Hasina,” published in newspapers recently.We would like to say that they (BNP) have learnt about how they are behaving now from the present incumbents in power!
The leaders of the Awami League called hartal on173 days during rule of then BNP in the nineties and people were killed in political clashes. People remember the successive hartals of the year 1996.
The Awami League leaders along with those of Jamaat-e-Islami tried to oust then BNP government and demanded Caretaker government, exactly what the BNP is demanding right now.
Democracy is with neiher the AL nor the BNP. Both the parties are good players and torch-bearers of democracy, but people are suffering a lot. Save the country and the people first.
