Dhaka, April 9 – Demanding the reform of Quota system and protesting cop’s attack on protesters students of Rajshahi University blocked the Dhaka-Rajshahi Highway on Monday.
From 08.00am to 03.00pm the agitating students blocked the highway for 7 hours.
Parading main streets of the campus more than five thousands students gathered in the entrance gate of the university and blocked the highway.
Students boycotted the classes and exams as per their pre-scheduled announcement.
No buses moved out to the roads on the day. Earlier, they staged emonstration on the campus at mid-night on Sunday pressing the same demand. – RU Correspondent
