Who have killed Italian aid worker in Capital?

An Italian air worker was shot dead by unidentified assailants in city’s Gulshan diplomatic zone on Monday evening.
The killing took place on Road no 92 in Gulshan-2 diplomatic zone in capital Dhaka.
An aid worker the victim was identified as Cesare Tavella (45), was employed by the Netherlands-based NGO, ICCO.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Gulshan Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Sirajul Islam confirmed the killing.Eye-witnesses said, Cesare Tavella was jogging and was carrying a backpack. At Road No. 92 three people came to the scene in a motor cycle. Two disembarked. One of them fired shots at Cesare Tavella and the three left the scene in the same motor cycle at about 6.15 pm.
Police said the foreigner was shot by unknown assailants. Locals rushed him to city’s United Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Gulshan Thana sub-inspector (SI) Mizanur Rahman said the victim was shot at his left arm and belly. Police is investigating the case.
According to eye witnesses the killers did not touch the backpack of Cesare Tavella for money or valuables, they just shot him and left. The owner of a local rickshaw garrage Mohammad Zainal said, the three youths who were involved in the murder were never seen by him in the area before.
The Ambassador of the European Union to Bangladesh Pierre Mayaudon has condemned the killing of Italian aid worker Cesare Tavella employed by the Netherlands-based NGO, ICCO on Monday evening by unidentified gunmen in the Gulshan diplomatic zone.
Terming it as a terrorist crime and barbaric aggression, the EU ambassador urged the law enforcement agencies to investigate the killing and bring its perpetrators to justice.- News Desk
