A mobile court awarded a woman for one-year imprisonment for selling
ganja at Muksudpur upazila here today.
The convict was identified as Selina Bugum, 35, wife of Rezaul Islam
at Batikamari Bahara village of the upazila.
The mobile court led by upazila nirbahi officer of Muksudpur M
Khairuzzaman pronounced the verdict.
Assistant police super of RAB-8 Sumon Deb said after receiving secret
information, RAB and narcotic department jointly conducted a drive and
arrested her with five kg of ganja.
Later, they sent her to the mobile court.
