Members of the Narcotics Control Department in a drive arrested a woman in possession of three pistols, six magazines and 112 rounds of bullet from a bus in Ekdala area of Sadar upazila on Friday.
The arrested was identified as Lucky Begum, hailing from Muladuli in Pabna.Nazim Uddin, Natore circle inspector of the Narcotics Control Department, said acting on secret information, a team of the department officials intercepted a Pabna-bound bus from Rajshahi and arrested Lucky along with the arms and ammunition in the afternoon.Later the arrested along with the recovered arms and ammunition was handed over to the Rapid Action Battalion. -UNB, Natore
