A young man of a village committed suicide firing at his own head by
an unlicensed pistol on Saturday morning July 13.
Police recovered a foreign made 7.62 mm pistol, unused bullets and a
cover of a used bullet from the side of the body lying at the home of
the deceased. Locals thought that family feud might be the cause of
the incident.
The deceased is identified as Maruf Tarafdar, 28, son of Farid Tarfdar
of Tularampur village under sadar upazila of the district.
OC of Sadar thana Rafikul Islam said, the pistol used for committing
suicide was unlicensed. The body has been sent to Sadar Hospital
morgue for autopsy. -Our Correspondent
