A young man allegedly committed suicide by taking poison at Bahuli village in Sadar upazila on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Alamgir Hossain, 25, son of Abdul Majid of the village. Locals said Alamgir, father of one child, took poison at about 1:30 pm.
Later he was rushed to Sirajganj General Hospital where doctors declared him dead. The reason behind the suicide could not be known immediately. -UNB, Sirajganj
