Dhaka – A mobile court on Sunday evening sentenced a young man to one year’s jail for stalking and harassing a college girl and her sister in Boraigram upazila in Natore.The convicted youth is Ujjal Hossain Bhutto, 22, son of late Abul Hossain Sarker.Doyal Kumar Banarjee, sub-inspector of Bonpara Police camp (investigation) said that Bhutto used to stalk college-going Setu, 22, and her sister Mitu, 20.When the two sisters were returning home from the market on Sunday afternoon, Bhutto obstructed them again, and they screamed for help.Hearing their screaming, locals rushed in and detained Bhutto and handed him over to the police.Later, he was produced before the mobile court led by Ishrat Farzana, executive magistrate and also the upazila nirbahi officer (UNO), who sentenced Bhutto to one year jail.UNB news agency
