Dhaka- A young man, who was injured in a clash between two groups over establishing supremacy at Paschim Khulshi in the port city on Friday night, died at a hospital here in Chattogram on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Md Abdur Shukkur Hridoy,22, son of Abul Khayer of Jhaotala area in the city.
Officer-in-charge of Khulshi Police Station Sheikh Md NasirUddin said, the clash broke out at night as two rival groups attacked each other over establishing supremacy in the area, leaving 9 people, including Shukkur severely, injured.
The injured were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
Shukkur succumbed to his injury around 11 am on Saturday at the hospital, added the OC.
