Dhaka – A young man was stabbed to death by muggers in Zindabazar area of the city early Thursday.The deceased was identified as Asaduzzaman Ripon, 27, hailing from Nilphamari.Gousul Hossain, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Model Police Station, said that a gang of muggers obstructed a rickshaw carrying Ripon and his wife around 2:30am, while they were returning from offering prayers at Hazrat Shahjalal Mazar Sharif.Later, the gang stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.The injured was rushed to Osmani Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.A case was filed accusing unnamed people.
