Rajshahi, Nov `11 – Defeating Begum Khaleda Zia Hall, Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Hall of Rajshahi University (RU) has emerged champion in Inter-hall Debate Competition 2018. Organized by Rajshahi University Debating Society (RUDS) the final round of the competition was held at the Teacher and Students Cultural Center (TSCC) of the University on Saturday at 07.00am.Director of the TSCC and also the moderator of the RUDS Professor Dr Hashibul Alam Prodhan presided over the program while Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Dr M Abdus Sobhan addressed the function as Chief Guest.
Professor Dr M Abdus Sobhan said, ample opportunities are available in our university to cultivate culture. The more we exercise our culture the more uncouthness will be alleviated from our society. I will patronize to the exercising culture as long as I am with the university.
Besides University Pro-vice Chancellor Dr Ananda Kumar Saha and Professor Dr. Chowdhury Md. Zakaria, Administrator to the Public Relation Office Professor Dr. Provash Kumar Karmokar, and RUDS president Dr. Rafiqul Islam Royal were present.
