Ziaur Rahman’s Martyrdom observed in Moulvibazar

32nd Martyrdom day of the President the woeful 30th May Ziaur Rahman.
In the early hours of the morning of 30 May 1981, he was assassinated
by a group ofdisgruntled army officers at the Chittagong Circuit
House. Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), founded by late President
Ziaur Rahman and its associate organizations are observing the day
with great respect and solemnity. will distribute foods among
unfortunates in the Moulvibazar its surrounding places. Moulvibazar
town unit of Bangladesh Bnp arranged the discussion meeting with its
Moulana owale siddique in the chair. It was addressed, among others,
ADvocate Mujibur Rahman Mujib, Mr Yusuf Ali, Motin Bokhas, Begum
Anhara Islam  BanunnassaKhanm Nazma Begom and Fokrul Islam Besides,
Quran Khwani, Milad Mahfil, hoisting of the national flag at the party
office, offering of wreaths at the portraits of the four national
leaders and wearing of black badges was conducted. The main opposition
party and its associate bodies have chalked out a 14-day programme to
mark the death anniversary.The programmes include discussions,
hoisting party and black flags, wearing black badges, placing floral
wreaths and offering fateha, distribution of food among the destitute,
voluntary blood donation and a photo exhibition.Ziaur Rahman was born
on January 19, 1936 at Bagbari in Bogra. He became the 7th President
of Bangladesh from 1977 to 1981.Zia founded Bangladesh Nationalist
Party in 1978.
