The Pir Shaheb of Charmonai, Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim on Thursday said that the 05 January 2014 election was at the root of the current political crisis in the country. He said because of that election panic has gripped the mind of the people.
Addressing the annual Mohfil at Charmonai on its third day on Thursday the Pir Shaheb who is also the Ameer of the Islami Andolan Bangladesh said that the peace-loving people of Bangladesh will not sit idle is this situation continues to persist.He said that the people would launch movement to overcome the situation because they did not lease the country any quarter.
On the day the Islami Shasontantra Chhatra Andolan central committee organised a strudent-people rally which was presided over by Isha president Nurul Amin Al Amin in the chair. Pir Shaheb was chief guest at the rally.
The Ameer of IAB urged students to play a courageous role in resolving the prevailing crisis. The people are looking towards you, he told them making mention of the historic language movement and the war of liberation in whcih students played glorious roles.
