Dhkak – A person went missing as a trawler capsized in the Kourikhara canal of Kourikhara village in Nesarabad upazila on Friday.The victim was identified as Shahidul Islam, 50, of the Kourikhara village,UNB news agency reported.The Swarupkathi-bound trawler with 25 passengers on board sank in the canal around 7:30 am following a collision with another wood-laden trawler, said Monirul Islam Monir, officer-in-charge of Nesarabad Police Station.All but Shahidul managed to swim ashore, he said.On information, divers from Barisal rushed in to rescue the missing person, said OC.
