10 more parliamentary committees formed

Parliament on Monday formed another 10 standing committees on different ministries. The JS bodies have been formed unanimously as chief whip ASM Firoze proposed the names of the committees.
With this a total of 24 standing committees and parliamentary committees out of 51 have so far been constituted in three phases.The parliamentary standing committee on the ministry of water resources has been formed with Romesh Chandra Sen as its chairman. The other members of the committee are: Water Resources Minister Anisul Haque Mahmud, Nazrul Islam, Bajlul Haque, Talukder Abdul Khaleque, MOstafa Rahman, Fazlul Haque Khan, Ekramul Karim, Rezwan Ahmed and Selina Zahan Rita.
The standing committee on the ministry of commerce has been constituted with Prof Md Ali Ashraf as its chief. The other members of the committee are—Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, MOtahar Hossain, Enamul Haque, Nurul Mojid, Waresat Hossain, AKM Bahauddin, Sanwar Hossain, Manjur Islam and Laila Arjumand Banu.
The standing committee on the ministry of liberation war affairs has been formed with Talul Islam as its chief. The other members of the committee are— Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, Afsarul Amin, Swapan Bhattachariya, Nurunnabi Chowdhury, Golam Dastogir Gazi, Iqbalur Rahim Ashiqullah Rafiq and Kamrunnahar Joly.
Omar Faruk Chowdhury has been made chairman of the standing committee on the ministry of industries. The other members of the committee are—Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Abdur Razzak, Habibur Rahman MOllah, Shamim Osman, MA Malek, Abul Kalam Ahsan Chowdhury, Rahimullah, Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu and Fatematuzzohra.
The standing committee on the ministry of expatriate welfare and overseas employment has been constituted with Nurul Manjid Mahmud Haque as its chairman. The other members of the committee are—Minister for Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, Israfil Alam, Mahmudus Samad Chowdhury, Mahfuzur Rahman, Didarul Alam, Ainuddin, Sahabuddin, Munnujan Sufian and Mahjabin Morshed.
The standing committee on the ministry of post, telecommunications and information technology has been formed with Imran Ahmed as its chief. The other members of the committee are—Post, telecommunications and Information Technology Abdul Latif Siddiqui, Jonayed Ahmed, AKM Rahmatullah, Moazzem Hossain, Sharif Ahmed, Sheikh Afil Uddin, Shawkat Hasan, Kazi Firoz Rashid and Hosne Ara.
Bajlul Haque Akand has been made chairman of the standing committee on the ministry of religion affairs. The other members of the committee are—Aslamul Haque, Habibur Rahman Mollah, Sadhan Chandra Majumder, Syed Nojibul Bashar, MA Awal, Abu Reza, Makbul Hossain, Amir Hossian and Dilara Begum.
The standing committee on the ministry of Information has been formed with AKM Rahmat Ullah as its chief. The other members of the committee are—Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu, Sukumar Ranjan, Jahangir Kabir nanak, Ekramul Karim Chowdhury, Simi Hossain Rimi, Mrinal Kanti Das, Saimum Sarwar Kamol, Salah Uddin Ahmed and Tarana Halim.
Faruk Khan has been made chairman of the standing committee on the ministry of civil aviation and tourism. The other members are—Civil Aviaiton Minister Rashed Khan Menon, Sheikh Helal Uddin, Tanvir Imam, Nazrul Islam, Shawkat Hossain, Kamrul Ashraf, Aftab Uddin, Tajul Islam Chowdhury and Rawshan Ara.
RAM Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury has been made chairman of the standing committee on the ministry of hill tracts affairs. The other members of the committee are—CHT state minister Bir Bahadur Ushoisinh, Helal Uddin, Subed Ali Bhuiyan, Abdul Latif, Birendra Tripura, Amanur Rahman Ushatan Talukder and Firoza Begum.
