Ten persons were injured in a clash between police and BNP-Jamaat activists this afternoon here.BNP-Jamaat activists assembled on the institute premises in the morning and brought out a bamboo procession during the time of Zahur prayers but police intercepted the processionists and resorted to baton-charge on them.
Police arrested four BNP-Jamaat activists from the procession.Arrested Jamaat activists are Dulal 45, Hafizur Rahman 55, Anwar Hossain 30 and Jubo Dal activist Jahangir Alam 38. The arrested were sent to jail.Agitated BNP-Jamaat activists damaged a goods-laden truck at Munshipara of the town this noon. -BSS, Dinajpur
