Dhaka – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested two arms traders along with firearms from Barikbazar area in Shibganj upazila in C’nawabganj on Friday afternoon.The arrestees were identified as Masum Ali Babu, 25, son of Mahidul Islam, a resident of Chakla village and Ibrahim Ali, 40, son of Afsar Ali, a resident of Sona Masjid Gazipur village.
Tipped off, a team of the elite force conducted the drive in the area around 4pm and arrested the duo along with two pistols, five magazines and five rounds of bullets. according to a press release of Rab-5,A case was filed in this connection.
