Dhaka – In a shocking incident, a man took poison after pouring it into the mouths of his two children at Ashulia in saver here on Monday following a marital feud, ending two lives in the process.The deceased were identified as Mohan Singh, 34, a saloon trader, and his son Manik Singh, 7, of Kuturia Amtala area,UNB News Agency Reported.
Locals said Mohan used to have marital spat with his wife Shefali, a garment worker.On Monday afternoon, Mohan poured poison into the mouths of his two sons — Manik and Ratan Singh, 4 – and later he himself consumed it when Shefali was away.Locals rescued them and took them to Enam Medical College Hospital where doctors declared Mohan and Maink dead. Ratan’s condition was stated to be critical.The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy,said officer-in-charge of Ashulia Police Station Mohsinul Quader.
