Police in a drive arrested two people along with three crude bombs from Garikhana Road area of Jessore district town on Monday night.The arrestees were identified as Rana, son of Jamal, and Ibrahim alias Rudra, son of Ismail of the area.Being tipped off, a team of police arrested the duo from a counter of Golden Line Paribahan along with the bombs around 10:45pm while about five miscreants fled the scene sensing the presence of the law
enforcers, Kotwali thana police said.They gathered there to commit subversive activities, police added.A case was filed in this connection under the Explosive Substances Act. – UNB, Benapole
