Two labourers were killed and 10 others injured as a truck turned turtle at Pithalitala in Shibganj upazila on Tuesday morning.The deceased were identified as Sadekul Islam, son of late Shamsuddin and Mesher Ali, son of late Fanku Mandol of Guptamanik village of the same upazila.
Police said the Shibganj upazila bound truck carrying labourers met the accident as its driver lost control over the steering at about 6:30am, leaving the two dead on the spot and injuring others.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to a local hospital.
