A Dhaka court on Tuesday sent BNP joint secretary general Amanullah Aman and advisor to the BNP chairperson, Dr AZM Zahid Hossain to jail rejecting their bail petitions and remand pleas in two cases.
The hearing on the remand and bail pleas for the duo were held in the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka this noon.
After the hearing, Metropolitan Magistrate Keshob Roy Chowdhory turned down bothe pleas and ordered to send back the BNP leaders to jail.
