I’ve a role and I’ll discharge my duty if they want to hold any important discussion on the matter in Parliament,” she told the journalists at the local Circuit House.
Speaker Shirin Sharmin met the press during a halt here on her way to attend a mass reception in her own constituency at Chatkhil in Laxmipur district.
The Speaker expressed the hope that the opposition will attend the ensuing budget session.
