Dhaka – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested three alleged forest robbers from Keyakhali canal adjacent to Kholpetua river under Satkhira range of the Sundarbans in Satkhira on Thursday morning.The arrestees- Abdul Kader, of Tengrakhali village, Md Isa of Sora village, and Nazmul of Joymoni village in Shyamnagar upazila– are members of ‘Nur Islam Bahini’.Major Adnan, deputy commander of Rab-8, said tipped off, a team of Rab conducted a drive in the morning and arrested them.The Rab team also recovered a one-barrel pistol, a two-barrel pistol, a 22 rifle, a shooter gun, and 82 rounds of bullet.A case was filed and the arrestees were handed over to Shyamnagar police station.UNB news agency
