3 Jamaat leaders held in Jessore

Dhaka -Police in a drive arrested three leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami from Alamnagar village in Sadar upazila early Tuesday
on sabotage charge.The arrestee was identified as Abdur Razzak, secretary of the Deyara union unit of Jamaat, Selim Reza, son of Abul Bashar, a resident of the village, and Jakir Hossain, son of Ansar Ali, a resident of Gobila village of the upazila,UNB news agency reported.Aminur Rahman, assistant sub-inspector of Kotwali police station,said on secret information, a joint team of Kotwali thana and
Sajhiali police outpost conducted a raid on the house of Abdur Razzak early in the morning and arrested the trio.Police also recovered some jihadi (religion uprising) books and leaflets from the house.A case was filed in this connection.
