Dhaka – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested four suspected forest robbers of ‘Zia Bahini’ after a gunfight at Katheshwar Khal in the Sundarbans under Shyamnagar upazila in Satkhira early Monday.A team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area around 4am following a tip-off, said Khandaker Rafiqul Islam, commanding officer of Rab-6.Sensing their presence, the robbers opened fire on the law enforcers, prompting them to fire back, triggering the gunfight.UNB agencyAfter nearly a 20-minute fight, the Rab team arrested four of the robbers — Ziaur Rahman Zia, 37, Mintu Gazi, 32, Masum Billah, 25, and Yunus Ali Poncha, 24, — along with two one shooter guns, two pipe guns and 19 bullets.
