Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested four Indian
nationals from Harinchhara Tea Estate in Srimangal upazila of
Moulvibazar district on Thursday night. The arrested were identified
as Niramal Bidyakar, Sanjay Bhattacharia, Shankar Dey and Dhaniman
Kashia. They hail from Kamalpur area of Dhalai upazila in India.
Police said a BGB team arrested the four Indians around 8pm as they
intruded into the Bangladesh territory. Later, they were handed over
to police. Md Abdullah, officer-in-charge of Srimangal Police
Station, said the arrested will be produced before the court on
Saturday. – UNB
