Dhaka – Four workers were killed and several others injured in a mudslide while extracting stones from a quarry in Jaflong area of Goainghat upazila on Tuesday afternoon.The deceased, including a female, could not be identified yet.Shamsul Alam Sarkar, Additional Superintendent of Police, said a portion of mud collapsed on a group of workers around 4:30pm while they were extracting stones from the quarry at Mondirer Jum.Four workers died on the spot while several others suffered injuries, he said.UNB news agency
