The Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) here in a drive arrested an
alleged drug peddler along with 40 kg hemp from Ambagh area of the
city’s Konabari early Tuesday.
The arrestee was identified as Altab Hossain, 20, a resident of Ambagh area.
DNC sources said on secret information, a team of DNC officials raided
the house of Altab Hossain in Ambagh area in the wee hours, recovered
40 kg hemp kept in a sack and arrested the house owner. -UNB, Gazipur
