Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested five alleged drug peddlers along with 2,700 Yaba tablets from Guho Laxmipur area of the Sadar upazila on Monday morning.The arrested were identified as Arif, 30, Shakil Sheikh 26, Robi, 22, Yusuf Miah, 17 and Shahin Molla, 24, all residents of the area.On a tip-ff, a team of the elite force conducted the drive in the area and arrested them along with the tablets.A case was filed with Kotowali Police Station in this connection.Aminur Rahman, ASP of Faridpur Rab-8 confirmed the incident.
