A mobile court here on Wednesday sentenced seven people to 15 days’
imprisonment each for their involvement in separate clashes.The convicts are Shariful Islam, Adil Rahman, Masik Sheikh, Parvez
Alam, Bappi Sheikh, Selim Reza and Imon.
Police said a team of police arrested the seven people for their
involvement in separate clashes at Milon intersection, Soyagobinda,
Bhangabari and Diar Dhangora of the district town on Tuesday and Wednesday.
A mobile court led by Sadar upazila nirbahi officer and executive
magistrate Salauddin Ahmed handed down the verdict after the arrestees
were produced before it on Wednesday afternoon.
