‘Icche’, a voluntary social organisation of Rajshahi University (RU) formed its new executive committee for 2015-16 session nominating Poragh Mushtak as president and Md.Sahjahan Ali as a general secretary.
The new committee was announced at a programme at the university Deans’ Complex Sunday at 5.00pm.The outgoing general secretary Md. Momin moderated the programme while president Debosri Mandal chaired it.
University student advisor Professor Sadequl Arefin Matin addressed the function as the chief guest. Professor Nazrul Islam member of advisory body of the committee and also teacher of Population Science department were present as special guests.
The others members of the committee, Farhana Mukti and Omar Faruqe as vice president, Md Monir Hossain asssistant general secretary, Md. Juwel Rana organizing secretary, Mohammad Ali financial secretary, Md.Jahidul Islam office secretary, Md. Nur Alam publication secretary, Ahsan Habib marketing secretary , Hasan Al Mamun and Kafi Khandakar as assistant marketing secretary, Kamnashish Ray education research and scholarship secretary, Md.Nasirul Haque assistant secretary of education research and scholarship.
It is noted that Icche started its journey in 2012 with the slogan “meeda dei, shrom dei, arto manobotar sheba kori, pritibike bodle dei.”
