Slain Hazaribagh Thana Chhatra League President Arzu’s brother Md Masud Rana lodged a case against four people including three members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in connection with the death of his younger brother Arzu in a gunfight. Arzu’s elder brother Rana filed the case on Sunday with the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka. The accused include RAB Commanding Officer Lieutenant Masud Rana. Other three accused persons are DAD Shahidur Rahman, Inspector Wahid and Source Raton.
On August 18, Arzu, who was made accused of lynching a teenager to death for suspected theft, was killed in a gunfight with RAB. – Special Correspondent
