Police arrested eight people along with 11 bombs and 52 Yaba tablets from different areas of Jessore town early Sunday.
Anisur Rahman, son of Mohammad Ali, was arrested from Chanchra Raipara in the town along with 52 Yaba tablets.Besides, police arrested one Razzaq from near Bhaturia School in sadar upazila. Five bombs were recovered from his possession.Meanwhile, police arrested Nais, a snatcher, along with three bombs from old bus stand area in the town. Kotwali thana police recovered three bombs in an abandoned condition at Bezpara Mainroad. Police also arrested five people—Shukur, of Chanchra Raipara area, Sumon, of Bezpara,Ripon and Sirajul Islam and Humayun Kabir-on various charges. -UNB, Benapole
