Mother killed in Bangladesh ‘by jealous relatives’

A London mother was hacked to death with machetes in front of her 12-year-old son in Bangladesh by jealous relatives, her family told the Evening Standard.Rehana Begum, 43, from Stepney, east London, is believed to have been on holiday visiting her mother and siblings with her husband and 12-year-old son.
The attack happened on Friday in the Sunamganj province in the north-east of the country.
The family of the mother hacked to death in Bangladesh has told ITV London that she had been stabbed around 18 times by “jealous relatives”. Her brother-in-law Angur Miah said that Rehana Begum’s son witnessed the entire incident.
