DHAKA: Detective Branch police arrested Jamiyote Ulamay-e-Islam Ameer and Islami Ain Bastobaiyon Committee Secretary General Mufti Wakkash.
He was arrested from Malibagh Chowdhurypara in the capital around 2:30pm on Monday.
DMP Media Centre Deputy Commissioner Masudur Rahman confirmed the news.
Police arrested him to quiz in a case filed with Shahbagh Thana over the Hefajat-e-Islam rally of May 5 last. – Banglanews24.com
